How it works

Three steps to the door.

  1. 01

    Reserve your seat.

A $20 deposit holds your place at the first Parlor — an intimate night, capped at 30 guests.

  2. 02

    Arrive after dark.

Step into a candlelit mansion in Salt Lake City. Grab a mocktail, find your name, and check your phone at the door — for one night, you're all the way here.

  3. 03

    Play your way in.

A host guides the night through Mafia, charades, sardines, and hide-and-seek — the games do the introducing, so no one has to make small talk. You'll leave having actually met people.

What’s included

Everything the night is made of.

  • A seat at The Parlor — an intimate, hosted evening for 20–30 guests inside a rented Salt Lake City mansion.

  • A full program of nostalgic party games — Mafia, charades, sardines, hide-and-seek — run by a host so the night flows and no one’s left on the sidelines.

  • Craft mocktails, sodas, and snacks throughout the night.

  • A room designed to introduce you — name cards, gentle icebreakers, and games built to fold newcomers and groups into one crowd.

  • Two house rules, both on purpose: no alcohol and no phones. Clear head, screen-free, fully present — you’ll remember every round.

The vibe

Somewhere along the way, grown-ups forgot how to play. The Parlor is the invitation back.

Picture a grand old house lit by candlelight, filled with the sound of people laughing like they did at eleven years old — except now the stakes are friendship, not a gold star. We keep it simple with two house rules: no alcohol and no phones. Not to take anything away — to give you something back. A whole evening where nobody’s half-looking at a screen and everyone’s genuinely, wide-awake present.

Come alone and the games will hand you a crew by the end of the night. Come with friends and you’ll leave knowing half the room. It’s recess for grown-ups, dressed for the occasion — and the best night you’ll actually remember.

Questions

Before you knock.

What is The Parlor, exactly?

A ticketed evening of classic party games — Mafia, charades, sardines, hide-and-seek — hosted inside a rented Salt Lake City mansion. Think dinner-party elegance meets the game nights of your childhood.

How much is it?

Tickets are $55. A $20 deposit reserves your seat now and applies toward your ticket; the balance is due before the night.

Wait — no alcohol?

Correct, and on purpose. The Parlor runs on games and genuine connection, not open bars. Clear heads make for better players, braver charades, and a night you'll actually remember. Craft mocktails and snacks are on us.

Do I really have to put my phone away?

Yes — it’s the second house rule, and it’s the good kind of rule. Phones are checked at the door so the whole room is actually here, not half-scrolling. It’s astonishing how quickly strangers become friends when no one’s hiding behind a screen. You’ll get it back at the end, with better stories on it.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely — most of the magic is meeting people, and the games are built to do the introducing. Solo guests are folded in from the moment they arrive. You won't stand around holding a drink you don't have.

Who's it for?

Grown-ups who miss playing — whether you're bringing a crew or arriving solo. If you want a night of real connection over another round of small talk, you're who we made this for.

What if my plans change?

The $20 deposit is non-refundable — it's what keeps our intimate room full of people who truly want to be there. You're welcome to pass your seat to a friend.
